Please Check Your Add-Ons & Addresses

THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
As orders are shipping one issue we are having a few issues because many backers did not realize their add-ons did not sync to checkout correctly and their purchase came over as a credit. Here are the issues I am seeing:
Backers who thought the credit would be caught and the item they requested via Kickstarter added to their order
Backers who didn't realize the credit was for add-ons and spent it on signatures so there is no credit and they will not be receiving items they requested as a add-on
We are working with BackerKit to sync add ons for our 2021 Sketchbook kickstarter running now which is also why we limited options.
IF YOU HAD AN ADD ON AND ARE NOT 100% SURE YOUR ORDER IS CORRECT PLEASE CHECK THE ORDER
Click on the link you used for checkout or go to https://nexus-gourmando.backerkit.com and request a new link which needs to match to the email on file with Kickstarter when the campaign ended.
WE HAVE AT LEAST 6 BACKERS WHO PAID AND HAVE NOT YET CHECKED OUT - IF YOU HAVE MOVED WE ARE HAPPY TO UPDATE YOUR ADDRESS FOR YOU.

Gourmando TPB In House - Shipping Updates

BOOK NOTES
Overall Steve is happy with the printing. Cover is toooo glossy, but color is nice. Overall the text is a little small due to the fact this was intended for oversize printing and reading and those who purchased the oversized version will be in for a treat.
LIVESTREAMING
We will be showing off the book in tomorrow's livestream at NOON PST during the CLOSET COLLECTION.
The first wave of 250 books includes those that are UNSIGNED. We are scheduling Mike Baron to fly out to sign the books. We will be livestreaming the signing event.
The printer finally received our color match proofs and will be sending color accurate proofs next week. Hopefully these will receive a thumbs up from Steve and they can commence printing.

GOURMANDO TRADE PAPERBACK
We have tracking on the trade paperback and it is scheduled to be in house by Monday if not before! Hopefully before and we can include in Steve's weekly Sunday livestream.
GOURMANDO HARDCOVER UPDATE
We are nearing completing with our Hong Kong printer and seeking a new printer for our Thuneworld printing. We ended up having to send them a full set of color print outs for GOURMANDO for color matching. We are currently awaiting a set of color accurate proofs. To Steve there is nothing worse than having everything printed too dark (which seems to be the norm nowaday).
2021 SKETCHBOOK LAUNCHING
Additionally, we are finalizing our 2021 sketchbook. We should have a complete preview and video available by Friday and hope to launch as soon as Saturday. This will aid us in prefunding Thuneworld and allowing Steve to continue working on it.
The total cost of Thuneworld to do as Steve would like is around $90,000 for just talent/designer payments and does not include the actual printing of the book.
Here is a sneek peek at the 2021 sketchbook:
Hardcover Update

Quick summary to anyone who missed other updates:
After fixing numerous errors, the printer turned in an unacceptable proof that could only be used for size and cropping
Seeing the size, Steve decided to enlarge the book to 12x17 (this is for everyone, there will not be a 10x15 printed) which puts is at the same size as the IDW Artist Edition books.
Note: While IDW books retail for the same price as this Kickstarter, ours feature full color, inks AND pencils and more than double the page count.
The Hong Kong printer was having problems with color, so we did Office Max prints of the book until Steve found an acceptable color match and we sent that to them today.
Color approval is the very last thing we need before moving forward to actually printing this book. Fingers crossed the printed samples will help and we can have an acceptable proof next week. It's helping that the designer is in the Netherlands and closer to the same time zone as the printer.
We are printing the signed plate now and will ship that to Baron for signature. We will have a limited number of the 16x20 prints available for sale. Baron will have some as well.
